A holistic approach for members

“As a college student, I began a student membership with SCCA in 2019. Prior to the pandemic, I wanted to learn pottery to help boost my creativity. After the studio opened up again, I found myself inspired by those around me and wanting to learn more; however, inflation impacted my ability to keep up a membership. I applied for a year’s worth of scholarship to aid in my membership, and it’s given me the opportunity to continue working along with fellow potters despite my economic situation.”

“I admire the holistic view SCCA has for its members. From the ability to use new tools for free to multiple clay bodies being available to the amazing glaze offerings that make our pieces unique, SCCA gives so much for its membership price that, especially when compared with studios elsewhere in the country, seems like a bargain.”
