Day-of Details

  • The Clay Arts Classic is a rain-or-shine event. Tournament play will continue in the event of light rain or overcast conditions. However, in the case of severe weather, including lightning or course flooding, play will be delayed or canceled at the discretion of Sweetens Cove Golf Club staff for the safety of all participants.

    If the tournament is canceled due to dangerous weather conditions, Scenic City Clay Arts will make every effort to provide vouchers?? Please note that sponsorships and team registrations are non-refundable, as proceeds directly support our nonprofit mission.

    We appreciate your understanding and flexibility—and your support of arts access in our community, rain or shine!

  • SCCA will provide 2 meals to each player at the Clay Arts Classic. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from SCCA throughout the day.

    If your tee time is at 9 AM, you will be served breakfast and lunch. If your tee time is at 2:30 PM, you will be served lunch and dinner.

    Meal Times:

    • 8:30 AM - Breakfast

    • 1 PM - Lunch

    • 5:30 PM - Dinner

    Beer and cocktails are available for purchase from Sweetens Cove Golf Club.

  • For 9 AM tee times, please arrive no earlier than 8 AM? to park, eat breakfast, and receive instructions.

    For 2:30 PM tee times, please arrive no earlier than 1:30 PM? to park, eat lunch, and receive instructions.
