Join us for Glaze 101 - a FREE glaze orientation at the studio for all SCCA members. Learn the basics of how to prep, wax, and apply glaze to your pieces. This orientation will help you learn how to glaze your pieces correctly and safely, in order to minimize glaze issues on your pieces, our equipment, and other people’s work.

Please note that this is not a specialty glaze class. We will not be diving into special glaze techniques, alternative glaze application methods, or explaining any glaze chemistry. This orientation is really just to introduce you to basic glazing skills so you can safely glaze your pots, and learn do’s and don’ts of glazing.

Pre-registration is required for this orientation session. Please bring 1-2 bisque-fired pieces with you to the orientation so you can practice your glaze skills.
