Celebrate the season with your clay community at our annual Holiday Member Social! We’re decking the studio halls with cheer, laughter, and a little bit of friendly competition. Wear your tackiest holiday sweater, and let’s wrap up the year together in true SCCA style.

  • 5 PM | Potluck & BYOB

    Kick off the evening by bringing a dish and drink to share with your fellow members. All snacks big and small are welcome! ID’s will be checked for any drinkers.

  • 5:30 PM | White Elephant Pottery Swap

    Trade treasures and take home a surprise piece from a fellow potter. Bring one wrapped handmade ceramic piece to join the fun! It can be anything - a mug, bowl, or even something sculptural.

  • 6 PM | Staff Throwdown

    Get ready for a wheel-to-wheel showdown! Our staff—Kaylee, Jonathan, Nicole, and Summer—will battle it out in an intense pottery challenge. Watch the clay fly and cheer for your favorite—because YOU get to help choose the Throwdown Champion.

In addition to our event activities, you and your guests can utilize the studio as open studio time - but be prepared for things to get a little crowded during our throwdown competition. We’ll have other special surprises throughout the night, so be sure to stop by to join in the fun!
