Military Family Clay Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of handbuilding and work on a project of your choice, with the assistance of an instructor. Experience clay and community with other military families + individuals! Beginners are welcome. No prior clay experience required! Bring your immediate family members (spouses, children, grandchildren) to join in on the clay fun. Please fill out a registration form for each individual person attending, including children.

Clay and hand building tools will be provided. SCCA will finish and fire one piece for you if you wish to keep your project. We will notify you when it is complete for you to pick up, usually within 4-6 weeks after your class.

Pre-registration is required. You can register for class using the form below. If SCCA does not receive any registrations, the class will be canceled. These workshops are offered every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, so keep signing up to continue your clay fun!

Class Location Information:

This class is happening at our main studio location at 301 E. 11th Street #100 in Chattanooga, TN.

Find the studio: Our main studio location can be found in the ArtsBuild building at the corner of 11th Street and King Street. Enter the lobby door (facing 11th Street) and take the elevator down to the “B” level. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early to class.

Street parking is available, as well as lot parking. Park alongside the ArtsBuild building in the lot for free parking.

You cannot sign up for more then 4 spots in total for your group.
