Beginner to Immediate participants will enjoy creating their totem(s).

Students will learn to create a variety of clay vessels and sculptures towards a larger design of a totem. Select which pieces to stack on a metal base to create your design. Totems will be made using different parts using thrown , slab and extruded parts that will all fit over a metal tube that then can be used for garden art, outdoor or indoor sculpture. There are so many ways to incorporate the parts! Instructor, Mark Issenberg, will work with each student to help them put their ideas into clay and create their final totem!

What's included:
6 3-hour class sessions; 1 Free Bag of clay ($30 value); 1 metal base to hold your totem (additional bases can be purchased from the instructor for $25); all glass and glaze materials; 6 Free open studio sessions ($60 Dollar value)

If you have to miss a class, we will give you a free session so you can practice and make up for it!

SCCA must have at least 3 students to have a class. If 3 students aren’t enrolled in time for the class to start, we will inform and refund you.
