Mug-Making Workshop with Marialice Hatch

Thursdays: September 5 - September 12
6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
2 classes
$105 per person (No member discount)

In this workshop, students will gain advanced skills in making high quality mugs.

Week 1: review basics of throwing a mug (centering, opening, lifting) along with advanced tips and techniques for mug throwing and finishing, shaping, and cutting off.
Week 2: attaching handles - demonstration and practice; glazing tips

This is an intermediate level class. Students must have taken Wheel 1 or have equivalent wheel throwing experience.

What's included:
- Two 3-hour instructional sessions
- One bag of clay ($30 value)
- Two studio sessions to use on your own time ($30 Dollar value)
- Access to all studio supplies, materials and tools 

SCCA must have at least 3 students to make a class. If 3 students are not enrolled, we will inform you at least two days before the start date. You may choose to receive a refund or studio credit. You can read more about our class cancellation policy HERE.

If you have to miss a class, we will give you a free session so you can practice and make up for it!
