This hand building class will focus on creating forms and vessels using an extruder tool which pushes clay through a tube to create a standard molded shape, most often a coil. In this class, you will learn how to use the extruder to create various extruded forms and create pieces using those forms. Extruded forms can be used to create cups, vases, handles, and lidded vessels.

Extruded Forms is an advanced-level class. You need to have completed at least one Wheel or Handbuilding class, or have equivalent clay experience, before participating in the Extruded Forms class.

What's included:
- Six 3-hour instructional sessions
- One bag of clay ($30 value)
- Six studio sessions to use on your own time ($90 value)
- Access to all studio supplies, materials and tools

SCCA must have at least 3 students to make a class. If 3 students are not enrolled, we will inform you at least two days before the start date. You may choose to receive a refund or studio credit. You can read more about our class cancellation policy HERE.

If you have to miss a class, we will give you a free session so you can practice and make up for it!
